How long does a custom order take?
That depends on the order (quantity, but also the request of materials) you can imagine requesting a hat with antique lace, or jewelry with original ethnic pieces, that it might take some time to find the right materials. But overall ordering a custom piece should take about two weeks.
If you want to have anything done by a certain date please let us know.

I would like to order a customized product for Event X next week. Is this possible?
Normally not. A customized product costs more time to create than a product already in stock. If you order a customized product on such a short notice we cannot guarantee you’ll have it in time. Therefore we recommend you to order on time so you’re sure of having your product in time! But, you can always give it a shot on short notice.

Is it possible to give Hats ’n Dreads one of my own designs for jewelry or accessory?
Yes. We’re happy to help you with that! But if you want to have it in time for a certain date, please contact us in time, so you’ll have it in time.

Is product X also available in other colors or materials?
Usually yes, contact us for more information.

Can I stop by to pick up my order?
If you already have an appointment for dreads it is possible to take your order when you leave. Otherwise you’ll receive your order by mail. It’s also possible to pick up your order at an event where Hats ’n Dreads will be present. Check our agenda for a list of events where we will be.

 If you REALLY want to pick up your item, it’s also possible make an appointment to drop by one of our workspaces in Amersfoort.

I don’t live in the Netherlands, can I order at Hats ‘n Dreads?
Sure you can! Inside the EU it is possible to transfer money with IBAN and BIC data to our bank account. Next to that Hats ‘n Dreads offers the option to transfer money through PayPal. Please keep in mind that the shipment costs a little more and probably takes a little longer.

Do I receive a conformation when my payment was received?
Yes.

I ordered, but I would like to change something. How?
Please e-mail us as soon as possible at info@hatsndreads.com with your desired change. If we already shipped your order you’ll have the possibility to exchange it, but Hats ‘n Dreads is not responsible for the extra costs. If we’re still working on your order we probably can adjust it. In the case of customized products it’s more difficult. Please let us know as soon as possible to avoid these difficulties!

I already paid but I would like to cancel my order. How can I do this?
For custom orders this is more complicated. contact us for details.
For in stock items; please contact us as soon as possible, and then you’ll get your money back. If we already shipped your order we ask you to return this to us within 5 weekdays. The shipping costs will be paid by you.

Shipment
How much are the shipping costs of my order?
The shipping costs depend on the size and mass of your order. Orders which cannot fit through your mailbox will be send through parcel post (€6,75 within the Netherlands per parcel), other orders will be send through normal mail in accordance with the rates of the Dutch mail order.

How long does it take before I receive my order?
As soon as Hats ’n Dreads receives your payment and the product is in stock we will usually send this to you within 3 weekdays. If you ordered a customized product or a product that’s not in stock it takes longer. Hats ‘n Dreads will inform you about this by e-mail.

Product returns
Am I allowed to return products?
This is possible, but we have some conditions:
Products are clean and not worn!
- In the case of discontent: please contact us to tell us why
- In the case of a mistake made by Hats ‘n Dreads: we adjust your product for free and extra made shipping costs are paid back.
- In the case of a mistake based on wrongly given information by you: Hats ‘n Dreads is not responsible for this. We can adjust your product but extra costs are to be paid by you.

Terms and conditions
We reserve the rights to make price and term adjustments. However, prices are fixed during the order.
All orders must be paid in advance (prior to shipping). Upon receiving payment notification follows.
We accept the following payment methods:
•    Direct bank transfer
•    PayPal

When an order isn’t paid without reason within 14 days, the order will be cancelled and the products will be for sale again on the website. The buyer will receive notification about this.

Most of the products at Hats ‘n Dreads are custom made. These products therefore have a longer delivery time. If the buyer wants to have this product before a certain date Hats ‘n Dreads recommends to order this in time! Mention this date with your order.

Actual colors may appear slightly different in person.

When a buyer is not content with the products made by Hats ‘n Dreads, it is important to contact us about this within 7 working days and return the products to us.
If this is due a mistake made by Hats ‘n Dreads the product will be adjusted free of charge and you’re your shipping costs will be compensated. 
Hats ‘n Dreads is not responsible for mistakes made due to wrongly given information. We can adjust your products but we do not give refunds on extra costs.
Some products will not be exchanged due to hygiene reasons. In all cases it is therefore very important to return the product unworn to us. Please contact us for the next steps.
Shipping costs are in accordance with rates of the Dutch Mail Company (TNT).
 Hats ‘n Dreads will send you a final confirmation after placing the order with the exact shipping costs.
